The islands of the Caribbean are amongst the most beautiful places to visit in the world. Amongst the Caribbean islands are the United States Virgin Islands. If you are looking to golf while visiting St Thomas, then you should book a time at Mahogany Run Golf Course. This golf course is located on the north side of the island in an area called Mahogany Run and books up fast. So make sure you call ahead.

Magen’s Bay is the most popular beach on St. Thomas, and with good reason. Sandwiched between Mahogany run and Peterborg, Magen’s bay is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Virgin Islands. There is plenty to do, including snorkeling and jet skiing. Just make sure to walk all the way down the beach to avoid the cruise ship tourists.

Another great spot to visit is Udder Delight. They refer to themselves as “world famous,” which I can’t confirm or deny, but their shakes are fantastic. They have a multitude of ice cream flavors and their milkshake with coffee ice cream, Bailey’s and banana is a great way to end any day at the beach.

After trying every restaurant on the island, I can safely say that Thirteen takes the prize. Thirteen is located in the hills and is tough to find, so your best bet is to take a cab there.

To truly experience the Virgin Islands, plan to leave the island for a day to visit St. John.

St. John is about a 20 minute ferry ride from St. Thomas and is well worth it. The beaches on St. John are even more beautiful. Go to Cinnamon Bay or Trunk Bay and check out the amazing coral reef as you go snorkeling.

If you really want to do it right in St Thomas, you should rent a boat with a captain for the day. This will allow you to go island hopping and see all that the US Virgin Islands has to offer.
